8:00 am Each year, more and more companies use an adword campaign as their main medium when it comes to advertising over the Internet. An adword campaign is an easy, cheap yet effective way to market a company’s products and services. At the same time, it offers better results as the campaign is geared towards keyword density while aiming directly for a specific market. With regular print and broadcast advertising, you have to think of ways for the ad to directly hit your target market. With an adwords campaign, you do not have to spend much effort since the medium itself is hitting your audience right where you want them to be hit: which is by clicking on a direct link to your web site once a keyword is typed into a search engine. With popular search engines such as Google offering a fairly reasonable amount for keyword hits, both small and big companies are turning to adword campaigns for their advertising needs. The problem is, since adword campaigning has gained popularity, there lies a challenge to bid for the top spot. The competition has become fierce when it comes to emerging on the top three positions on the list once a keyword is entered. Unless you want to be at the end of a search list, you need to come up with a straightforward and effective Google adword campaign. At the end of the day, you would want to see the results of the adword campaign so here are some helpful tips on how you can emerge victorious against these challenges: 1. Create a Google adwords campaign and use it effectively. Offering adword campaign services is Google’s main cup of tea, and they will profit from you whether your company earns from these campaigns or not. You would not want to just give your money to Google without gaining any results so the key here is to use the tools that they offer to your advantage. Once a web surfer types in a keyword on Google and clicks Search, there are ‘Sponsored Links’ displayed and with each click, the advertiser needs to pay Google. If you are an advertiser and you decide to use Google’s adword campaign, study their guidelines and use the tracking tools that they offer to know which keywords get the most hits or matches. Then, you can revise your campaign so that it will be more applicable to address a specific market. 2. Use the tools to target your audience. Setting up an account in Google adwords would require you to key in the languages and location that you prefer. This is very important because if you do not set this up properly, then your products and services might be offered to a region or country wherein you do in not currently operate. Thus, you would gain you more advertising costs which would not yield any results if you are not properly addressing your target market. If you have clients in a bilingual region or if you operate in another country, choose the languages used in that location. This Google feature gives you more control when it comes to targeting a specific audience. 3. Compose and design your ad. In creating your adwords campaign, make sure that you have a clear understanding of Google’s guidelines. You would like users to click on your ad if they find it interesting enough. Of course, your web site will only be linked to related keywords so it is vital to focus on that as well. When composing an ad, make it brief, informative and attention-grabbing all at the same time. Bear in mind that it does not necessarily mean that once a visitor goes to your web site, they will stay there for a long time. Your web site should be designed to convince people to take advantage of the products and services that you offer before they leave. Otherwise, you would have a lot of hits on your web site but end up with a lot of misses on marketing and sales opportunities. 4. Choose the correct keyword. This is one of the most difficult parts when it comes to the adword campaign process. Use all the resources that you have to come up with the keywords that will lead to a hit on your web site. Use lay mans terms as much as possible. Put yourself in the shoes of a student or a housewife surfing the Internet. Unless the user is really tech-savvy, then he or she will just use everyday words and avoid technical terms. Google features a tool where keyword suggestions are offered. Vary your keywords from time to time as you learn which ones yield the most hits. This would also give you more results because users may enter keywords differently even when they are searching for the same topics. By coming up with a gameplan on how you can use Google adwords to spice up your advertising campaign, then you would most likely be on top of the list once Internet users key in a word which is related to the products and services that you offer. This would yield more profit for you and your company, without having to dole out millions in advertising campaigns through other mediums. 6:59 am When surfing through the Internet, one occasionally comes across little text advertisements to the right of the usual advertisements that come in websites. These are ads through the program Google Adwords. Google Adwords is a variation of the pay-pero-click advertising system; advertisers end up paying Google for each click by a searcher or web-surfer, not for any other extraneous costs. A regular Google Adwords ad is composed of a headline with 25 characters and basic product information with at most 70 characters. However, unlike the regular pay-per-click systems which base their search engine hits and ranking based completely on a sites ability to bid highest for particular keywords, Google Adwords gives a ranking on the basis of the cost per click and the click-through rate. This means that while advertisers also aim to bid for keywords, Google also factors in the relevance and the traffic coming in to the website when ranking a page. Why are people using this system? The Internet, as everyone may well know, is an effective means to reach people across borders and geographic constraints. According to recent polls, Google and its various applications (its search engines, its email services, among others) reach over 80 percent of the Internets average users. This simply translates to greater than 80 percent of Googles average 81.9 million users in a month being exposed to advertisements via the Google network. More than that, Google Adwords appear even in its email service portal, called Google Mail (or Gmail). The little advertising snippets appear atop the Inbox and even within the body of the emails sent to and fro Google users. With statistics showing that majority of the time spent on the Internet actually going into checking, writing, and managing emails, this even increases the demographic exposed to advertisements run on Google Adwords. Other Google affiliates, like AOL, AskJeeves, AT&T, and even the New York Times, who employ Googles search capacities, include Adwords ads in their search pages. Given this huge exposure without the fixed cost of prepaid advertising services, it is obvious why many advertisers flock to Google Adwords. How does one get ahead with Google Adwords? The answer is simpleget the Adwords ad ranked higher than the rest! With a higher ranking comes greater exposure in more web pages, search engines, and affiliate pages, as well as more traffic coming through to click the advertisement and gain access to the product or service being offered by the company. The first thing that must be assured is that the keywords are in fact, relevant and related to the content of the website. The closeness of the keywords to the very content found in the website, the greater propensity for Google to rank the page higher. If the company is intent in using a particular domain for over a year, it should sign up for the domain services for more than a year. This is the best way for Google not to evaluate the site as a spam site, as spam websites usually sign up for domains only for a duration of the year. Testing is also a necessary factor in trying to make the most out of Google Adwords. Find ways in order to test the traffic generated by various keywords in relation to the content of the product or service being offered. Use keywords in the ads partly into the headline or title of the page with the product or service. Moreover, do not spread the coverage of the advertisements too thinly. Google allows for its clients to specify countries, regions, and languages. Take advantage of this option in order to advertise to the niche and target marketthe market that will likely be interested in the product or service offered, and, eventually, make a purchase. Most importantly, make sure that clicking on the Adwords advertisement will lead to a page detailing the exact product being advertised, not a motley of other products. This allows for the page to be more relevant to the keywords found within the Adwords ad. Taking advantage of this ingenious system created by Google is not too difficult given some time and energy focused into creating the best and most efficient advertisements. By targeting the market and making content relevant and up-to-date, any companys Adwords ads will surely come in stellar ranking compared to those who dont follow the same tips. 5:59 am One of the key factors in business is marketing. Marketing is a way of making a product or service known by employing strategies which uses different media to achieve this goal. Marketing can be in the form of print, audio or visual media. However, the costs that are associated with marketing are to be taken seriously. High percentages of products prices are used to recover the costs that are associated with marketing these products. With the advent of the Internet, marketing had made a shift towards the virtual world. The Internet has given marketers something to smile about because marketing through the Internet is cheaper than the usual marketing techniques but can very well deliver the same results. Many businesses have discovered the wonderful system which was developed by Google to market products electronically. This is what we refer to as the Google Adwords. It is a system which is based on the bidding for key words by businesses. When someone searches for a certain thing on the Google search engine, a separate portion for the sponsored links is displayed at the right corner of the Internet browser. The website which have the highest bids will be displayed in the Adwords section. This technique is proven to be a cost effective way of marketing through the Internet. So, what are the different features and advantages of Google Adwords which seem to attract more and more businesses into engaging into it? Here are some of them: 1) Traffic generation Google is the major player when it comes to search engines. It has been proven by studies that Google generates 75% of the search traffic in the Internet. The word googling has also been put up by Webster Dictionary and is defined as searching through Google. These facts reflect the power of Google and this implies the effects of using Google Adwords to market ones product or service. 2) Target Audience By providing a separate section on the different sponsored links to a certain keyword search, Google Adwords makes connections between the buyer and the seller. This is what others would refer to as laser targeted audience connection. It clearly segments the market by analyzing the keywords which are inputted by the searcher and the keywords that the businesses bid on. 3) Control on Budget This is one of the most beautiful features of the Google Adwords system. The system allows for a designation of a daily budget which the participants can change whenever they want to. Participants are charged by Google for the number of clicks that is generated by the Adword system. Google has no business with regards to whatever happens to the transactions after the click has been done. A business can actually set a budget so as to effectively analyze the strategies that it employs in the Adwords system. If the daily budget is already exhausted, the participant is taken out of the bidding for the day and this prevents loss of money through advertising. 4) Reports The Google Adwords system is designed to be able to give the figures which can be used by businesses in assessing their progress in marketing their products through Adwords. Financial indicators such as return on investment and the price-per-click ratio of the advertisements can be computed from the system itself. 5) Strategy Adwords give flexibility to the businesses in terms of utilizing the most effective way of getting their products advertised. They control their advertisements, its design and the combination of keywords that they would like to bid on. The Google Adwords advertisements are short and concise. They are composed of a title line and a short body which contains the marketing message. It is a very efficient format which can be developed easily and can be altered anytime by the businesses themselves. There are other ways of marketing ones products and services through the Internet and Google Adwords is just one of them. However, the Google Adwords system has advantages that are unique to it. The results from using Google Adwords will vary depending on the strategy that the businesses employ in advertising their products. Businesses are encouraged to join the Adwords bandwagon but they are advised to do so with cautiousness and careful planning. 4:59 am Cyberspace giant Google created a service for businesses that can provide fast and hassle-free advertising for products and services in the Internet through cost-per-click and cost-per-impression called Google AdWords. Advertisements are displayed along with search and content sites and search results done within the vast Google network. Keywords are carefully selected to determine where the ads will appear within the network, and there will a charge for every click to the ads. Merchants will specify how much they are willing to pay for every click. Advertisers are assured of maximum audience penetration because the ads will appear at search results or occupying a space in a results page a user navigates through to get to a site directory. The ads will appear shortly after the required billing information of the advertiser is submitted. Maximum payment is charged per thousand views. But however powerful this online advertising tool is, it is still necessary that marketers create an effective AdWords strategy to rake in the profits. This can be done by offering free options for users so that their email addresses can be procured. Commissions will be collected for each every product sold, and this is done by directing online users to the site. Here are several strategies to produce an effective AdWords campaign, which will produce profits for advertisers in no time. 1. Come up with a large quantity of keywords or keyword phrases that highly-targeted but costs less. It is vital since an advertiser pays for each click done on the keywords. 2. Concentrate the designation of ad impressions to specific regions or countries as soon as customer data is produced. 5. Place a sign-up box for subscribers on the web sites being promoted 6. Provide a Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language pop-up for the sites. Unknown to some, pop-ups are can be used on landing pages provided it does not result in opening up new windows. 7. Put strong words in the ads, the type that appeals to the five senses of a user. Avoid using verbs that are abstract and personal. For instance, use tell instead of inform, change instead of modify, want instead of desire. 8. Avoid assigning too many keywords in an ad group. 9. Establish a daily budget for the ads. It is best to allocate a small amount to be paid for each click the ad gets. 10. When writing the ads, make sure there is rhythm to its flow. It arouses better reaction from people. 11. Remove those ads that are not getting many clicks from users and constantly edit those that prove to be functional. 12. Manage and keep track of the campaigns religiously. An advertiser will get to know which of the keywords utilized generates the highest impressions and click-throughs. Competition is truly tough nowadays, so advertisers should utilize all the channels available to them in order to get profits. Through Google AdWords, they can bring expansion in their advertising campaigns and reap rewards from it. Related BlogsGoogle AdWords Is Not Google AdSenseFriday, July 1st, 2011 at
3:58 am It is interesting to note just how common and daily vocabulary has changed with the times. Five years ago, if you asked someone to google up something, he might not understand what you mean even if he was familiar with the search engine of that name. Today, however, everyone knows what you mean. That can only point to Googles popularity and how it has come to be identified with looking up information on the Web. One can only imagine what new words Google, and companies like it, will introduce to the vocabulary five years from now and what they could possibly mean. Even now, there are new terms that are making the rounds in everyday conversation words that Google has invented. If youre at all familiar with advertising on Google, then youve probably heard the terms AdWords and AdSense. Perhaps, though like most people, while you may be familiar with terms you may not know what they are actually referring to. One mistake thats commonly being made nowadays is to interchange AdWords and AdSense, thinking that these two mean the same thing. Fundamentally, interchanging them is a mistake because the two words are referring to two different things albeit they are very closely related to each other. This article will help you understand the differences between them, how they work together and perhaps more importantly, how it can help you earn a little more money on the side. AdWords and AdSense are part of Googles advertising arm that is part of the companys growing range of services. If youve used Google to look up information, then youve encountered AdWords. They are the text ads that appear on the results page of your search. AdWords works by matching a Google user with Googles paying advertisers. But instead of just showing random ads that the user you may not be interested in (or worse, be irritated at) Google will present ads that have something to do with what the user is currently looking up. Take Sam, for example, who is looking up information on rock climbing. Sam types in the words rock climbing sport and hits the search button. Google will then present Sam with a list of webpages that contain information about that topic. Along with this listing, there appear text ads from companies offering products and services regarding rock climbing as a sport. One of these companies is owned by Jim, who runs a rock climbing facility in the town Sam lives in. Jim is able to advertise on Google by signing up his companys website with AdWords. He tells Google that hed like his text ads to appear on result pages for the keywords sport rock climbing which is what Sam used to look up information. This is how Sam is able to see Jims ad on Google. However, Jim doesnt pay Google for just showing his ad. He doesnt pay anything until someone like Sam clicks on the ad to visit Jims website. This is the pay-per-click (PPC) system, which is fundamentally how AdWords works. Part of this setup is the ability of Google advertisers, like Jim, to set the price of how much the cost per click (CPC) will be on the ads posted on Google results pages. Popular keywords like sport rock climbing may command a higher CPC compared to other less popular keywords, but may be just as effective when it comes to advertising on Google. AdSense works along side AdWords. While AdWords are text advertisements that appear inside Googles results pages. AdSense are AdWords that appear outside Googles website and onto other peoples websites. Take Jen, for example, who maintains a website for the local rock climbing enthusiasts group. As part of their fundraising program, she enrolled the website on Google AdSense. By signing up for AdSense, Jens website will display AdWord advertisements that are related to the content on Jens website in this case, about rock climbing. Now, take Sam (still remember him?) who is still looking for information on rock climbing. Jens website is part of the listing that appears on Sams search inquiry on Google. Sam clicks on the link that leads to Jens website. Sam browses through the website and reads up on climbing trips Jens group have organized. Along with that article, an AdWords advertisement is posted. It just so happens, that the ad is for Jims climbing facility. Sam, who is now more interested in taking up the sport, decides right then and there to visit Jims website. By clicking on the ad, Sam has caused two things: 1. He caused Jim to pay Google the agreed CPC for placing his ad and 2. Jens website earns a part of that CPC by allowing Google to show Jims ad via AdSense. This setup has made it possible for users like Sam to find information efficiently and be presented with AdWords from companies that are relevant to his search. Businesses like Jims can advertise effectively without needing to spend so much with AdWords, while website publishers like Jen can earn money by signing up with AdSense. With AdWords and AdSense, Google has managed to give people the information they need while connecting them to others of similar needs and interests. The fact that it can make fair money out of it can only add to how cool it already is. Related BlogsSame Game, New Rules: Online Advertising with Google AdWords APIFriday, July 1st, 2011 at
2:58 am Youve probably heard over the grapevine something called Google AdWords API. Just three little letters and yet, it is a big thing to those who know what it means. But just before youre told what API means, heres a quick description of what AdWords is and how it works: When you conduct a search on Google, you will find that along the listings on the results page are text ads. These ads are what Google calls AdWords. These ads are placed by businesses, which have signed on with Google on the AdWords program. The kinds of ads shown are relevant to the topic you looked up. Google, however, does not charge for simply showing the ads. The advertiser will pay only when a Google user clicks on the ad. The cost per click (CPC) is determined via bidding where the advertisers value a keywords CPC depending on how popular and how often the keyword is used. Basically, the principle is that the more popular the keyword is, the higher the CPC becomes. This setup has made it so that business, big and small alike, can conduct an effective and cost-efficient advertising campaign online. However, even good things can become better. And this is why Google has introduced AdWords API to its advertisers. API stands for Application Programming Interface. But before you get intimidated with the term, think of it as simply a means by which Google allows its advertisers to manage their AdWords campaign with a lot more efficiency and flexibility. But there are some advertisers who would like to have a bigger hand on how, when and to whom are their ads are being shown and this is where API comes in. Through the API, companies and businesses advertising on Google are given the opportunity to connect their own computer systems to Googles (particularly the AdWords server). This allows the advertisers the ability to manage their text ads in matters like as delivery and pricing of their ads. This ability may spell a huge change for Google. It will allow a change from a company that provides an online service to one that will be able to offer a venue for delivering ads all over the world. Some experts even say it is not far removed now for the company to step into commercial transactions with the API. That means it may be possible that some day companies like eBay may find themselves competing against Google. (But that, of course, are speculations as of now.) Currently, Google AdWords API is only available to its advertisers, excluding the Google AdSense affiliates. Initially, Adwords API benefits companies that already have in their employ personnel with the necessary technical skills to interact with the AdWords server. Programming skills, in particular, are required to do exactly that. However, it is foreseen that in the near future the demand for this programming knowledge will create a market for a third party service that will be able to cater to companies who may not be able to have their own programmers but would still like to avail of the flexibility AdWords API offers. So how exactly would an API benefit an advertiser? If youre at all familiar with how complex an online advertising campaign can get, you would know that it is typical for an advertiser to hold and conduct several campaigns at the same time. Managing this can be a complex and daunting task since each campaign can contain several AdWords, which in turn contains several keywords. It is not uncommon to find an advertiser needing to manage thousands of keywords at any given time. Not only do you need to manage how the ads are delivered, you also need to know what campaigns work and which AdWords generate the most hits, which in turn reflects which keywords produce the best results. This is necessary so that an advertiser can focus his advertising budget to the keywords and campaigns that generates the most business. Before API, doing that has been generally a straightjacket experience since the programs used to manage the ads are not customized to the business particular needs. What little information is generated is usually unable to answer specific questions each business asks to conduct an efficient campaign. Google, having thousands of advertisers, cannot cater to each and every one. But to keep them happy, Google has allowed them access and the freedom to create programs to do what they want (within specific boundaries, of course). Put in more laymans terms, it is much like the owner of a restaurant allowing you the use of the kitchen and the staff to make your meal exactly the way you want it. Applications that manage campaigns, report functions and track traffic are just some of the features developers can create for Google advertisers with the API. Google AdWords API primarily uses SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WDSL (Web Service Description Language) and SSL (Secure Server Location) as its core technologies. It currently supports Java, Perl, .NET, XML and PHP. To protect overtaxing servers, a quota system is implemented. The quota limits the number of actions you can perform over Googles servers for a given period. These actions are monitored by Google and if an advertiser feels that he needs an increased quota to manage his campaign more effectively, a request can be put through to Google for assessment. The API also allows advertisers to create a system where multiple users can log into a single AdWords account to perform varied functions. The advertiser can then manage and set limits to the movements of their own staff when transacting with Googles servers. Google AdWords API is a big step not only for Google itself, but for its advertising partners as well. It introduces new rules that make for a more interesting playing field. The question of how far this innovation will take this industry can only be answered by the players themselves. Until then, the rest of the world will look on with much interest. 1:57 am Marketing is one of the essentials of success in the field of business. Marketing is a dynamic field which involves using media to be able to get a promotional message across a target audience. The Internet has become a major tool in terms of marketing products and services. There are many ways to market using the Internet such as email marketing and putting up affiliate programs. Different methods imply different results and conditions. The Google Adsense hype is one of the most popular and most effective ways to market through the Internet nowadays. Google, with its formidable array of services, has taken Internet marketing into a whole new level. Google is one a key player in the field of search engines. It dominates the market and generates 75% of the Internets search traffic. With this kind of power at hand, it has been able to develop a new system which aims to promote Internet marketing as a whole. What is Google Adwords? The Google Adwords system displays advertisements from different participants whenever a keyword or a key phrase is searched through the Google search engine. The participants places their bids on the different keywords and the highest bidders will be displayed on the right-hand corner of the Internet browser. The highest bidders can also be featured in Googles affiliates such as AOL and netscape. This system provides optimum results for the price paid for the bid. The bidders are only charged for every click that is generated for their sites by Google. The participants also control their daily budget so as to avoid overspending. When the budget is exhausted for the day because the clicks which were generated exceeded the budget limit, the advertisement is automatically shut down by the system. This is indeed a very cost effective way of doing Internet marketing. Traffic and Marketing In the world of Internet marketing, generating site traffic is the key component to success. Websites are built to be viewed and perform such other functions such as to provide means of ordering a certain product or service. Google Adwords provides a new way of generating traffic to ones website. By strategic bidding and careful designing of the advertisements, one can get closer to generating sales and income. Advertisement The Google Adwords advertisements are generally very short and concise. This is a good way of putting different advertisements on a single search page even though it poses a challenge to the different advertisers. The advertisements are composed of two things: a title line and a body. The title line should contain a maximum of 25 characters and the body should have less than 2 lines containing 35 characters each. The real challenge is packaging the marketing message in a way that it a) attracts the attention of the targeted audience and b) entices them enough to click the link to the webpage. Title Title lines are very important. Many movies have been successful because they generated curiosity because of their titles. This is true for advertisements to be used in Google Adwords. They should be concise and attractive. They should never be misleading so as to avoid future problems. Body The body of the advertisement is the heart and soul of the statement. Basic information which is useful for the target audience should be placed in the body to give a general guide on what the site contains. Keywords To be able to generate traffic, one must be able to determine the right keywords and key phrases which should be employed. The Google Adwords system asks the participants what keywords they would like to bid on. Bidding on the wrong keywords will only lead to a waste of time and money. There are different resources out there such as overture which help in the assessment of target phrases. They show the different keywords and corresponding hits through search engines. This information is very important in developing a strategy in the Google Adwords system. Combination One should be able to determine the right keyword or the right key phrases to be able to optimize the traffic that is to be generated. The keywords should be specific to the product and should reflect its features. Using the words free, cheap, discount can be helpful if they are applicable to the product. The Google Adwords system is a great way to generate traffic. However, one must study the system before putting serious amounts of money into it. It is a pricing game and no one would want to lose a lot of money for marketing efforts which are not suitable to their endeavors. Related BlogsSecrets of google adwordsFriday, July 1st, 2011 at
12:56 am In the world of web advertising. None has generated more consumer response than by pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. The advantage of PPC advertising is its inherent flexibility. Traffic arrives instantly from actual users and performance is measured in real time. Currently, Google and Yahoo! are two giants that dominate the field. Google Adwords is a pay-per-click advertising engine that makes use of its largely popular search engine to encourage browsers to access client websites for a minimal fee. It currently has the largest distribution network compared to Yahoo! and the prices are relatively competitive with results. For the advertiser considering this form of marketing, using pay-per-click strategies can be a daunting task. But the advertiser just needs to keep in mind a few pointers before plunging headlong into the fray. 1.Create ads with a high click-through rate. Click-through rate is the measure of relevancy in Google Adwords. The more people who enter your site means in theory that more people find your sites content relevant to their search. 2.Choose your keywords carefully. Keywords are the links to which browsers will be able to find your site. Bids are often placed for the most-used keywords and oftentimes the prices for these words escalate to unbelievable proportions. It would actually be better to take some time to step into the head of your target market and get a feel of what words they would put in the search engine to solve their problems. For example, for people trying to buy motor oil online they would usually enter motor oil into the search. A more creative bidder can use other keywords that are also relevant to the subject, which the browser is most likely to enter as well like, lube change, overhaul, or tune up. The possibilities can be endless with a little imagination and role playing. If you fine-tune the key phrases, your click-through rate will increase along with the relevancy of your site to the consumer. Being first in using a new keyword will also give the browser an impression that the bidder is the only solution to this problem. 3.List your site wisely. Google Adwords bidders have three ways of listing on its search engine. Broad match eat cheese will run a search string with all words that have Google 1 Google 2 in it in any order. This will also display the results that have relative connection to the search like ate cheddar, eating cheese, cheese eating, etc. Phrase Match – eat cheese will run a search string that will display the results that match the exact phrase eat cheese in that one order only. It will return links that contain such phrases in sentences, lyrics, songs, etc. Exact Match [eat cheese] is a more precise search will return a search string with only eat cheese in it and nothing else. Furthermore, you can opt to exclude your site from searches made for keyword listing with a negative perception such as free, porn, cracks, hacks, etc. just add a – at the start of the word (-free). 4.Syndicate. Google Adwords is a syndication so advertisers can choose to appear only in Google, its affiliates, or even other contextual engines. Depending on the companys marketing strategy, you can also decide on which countries and languages to appear in. 5.Bid well. It is well advised that from the start it is wise to overbid slightly to get a more realistic exposure from the start. Because of good exposure, you can get a better feel on whether your click-through rate and keywords matches your market. 6.Geotargeting. Geotargeting is a Google service that lets you appear on search results for browsers of a desired geographical location. Places as big as regions to as small as cities can be targeted. Options are also available as to a specific radius of an area chosen. 7.Affiliates. In Google Adwords only one affiliate or seller ad can actually appear on a single landing page for every keyword. However, if affiliates can create a review for their site with significantly unique and relevant information, then the site can appear in the same page along with the seller ad. 8.Old fashioned hard work. Of course, nothing will ever get off the ground without creativity, hard work, luck, and spending a few more dollars on professional help. Google Adwords must be taken as a tool in a box of tools for a company. This way, the company can manage to maximize all the markets it can reach on and off the web. Related Blogs |
